The deactivation button allows users to temporarily disable their account without deleting it.

When you deactivate an account, it asked you for a reactivation date.

After you have deactivated the account, the platform will not match you with any job and/or send you any messages until the reactivation date you entered. 

For example, typical use would be if you are a job seeker using the account and you have found a job, you can deactivate your account until you are ready to use the platform again.
