Before You Start Interviewing

1. Timing

For the best results, use the platform between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. local time, Monday to Friday.

2. Job Description

Make sure your job description is as detailed as possible. The more information you provide, the better we can match you with the right candidates. You can find and update your job description under the "Job" tab in your account.

3. Candidate Appearance

Because Guhuza sends interview notifications in real time, candidates may be dressed casually. This is completely normal and expected on the platform.

4. Recording an Interview

6. Virtual Background Options

During the interview, you can select a virtual background so candidates don't see what's behind you. These options can be found under "Settings" when you start your interview.

When You're Ready to Start Interviewing

1. Finding Candidates

2. Candidates You Can Interview

Once candidates join your waiting room, they'll appear in the "Candidates" area on the right side of your screen. Click on a candidate's profile to start a live interview with them.

3. Time Lag

It may take a few minutes for a job seeker's video to appear on your screen after the interview begins. Please be patient while the connection loads.

4. Candidate Resume and Information

Once a candidate enters your waiting room, their resume and profile information will be visible in the tabs at the top of your screen.

5. Don't Close Your Browser

Keep your browser open while you're waiting for candidates. Closing it will stop the search. Feel free to open other tabs and we'll send you a text notification when a candidate enters your waiting room. Candidates can appear at any time, so keep an eye out.

6. Background Checks and Skills Tests

You can order background checks, skills tests, and more by clicking "Order Services" under the "Order" tab, or by visiting: https://Guhuza.com/employer

When You're Finished Interviewing

1. Stop Searching

Click "Stop" when you no longer want to search for additional candidates.

2. Exit the Interview Room

Click "Exit" when you're done interviewing. If you don't exit, job seekers will see that the role is still open and continue entering your waiting room.
