How do I download the Guhuza app?
Guhuza has launched a new mobile app to make job searching even easier. The app is currently available for iOS and Android, and is for job seekers only.
How do I log in to do a skills test?
If an employer requests skills testing, the job seeker will receive an email invitation for the test. After accepting the invitation, the job seeker will be prompted to log in to their Guhuza account, and the test will begin once they are signed in.
Can I see my test results?
Skills test results are shared only with the employers who request or administer the test. Guhuza does not provide test results directly to job seekers and is not involved in the hiring process.
What do I do if my hiring assessment or skills test doesn’t load?
If your assessment freezes or does not load, close it and try opening it again. Make sure your system and browser settings are up to date before starting the test. You can resume the assessment by logging back into your Guhuza account.
What do I do if I receive the wrong invite to a hiring assessment or skills test?
Guhuza does not administer assessments directly to job seekers. If you believe you received the wrong test invitation, please contact the employer who sent it to confirm or request the correct assessment.
What kinds of skills testing do you offer?
Employers can choose from over 500 job‑based and subject‑based tests across a wide range of industries including staffing, IT, health care, government, education, retail, hospitality, customer service, and more.
What is the difference between a test and a subject test?
On Guhuza, employers can choose from over 500 job‑based and subject‑based assessments. The difference is simple: a subject is the broader category, while a test is the specific skill being measured.
Is there audio in some skills tests/Are there simulation tests available?
Yes, some skills tests include audio components. For example, under the “Call Centre” subject, employers can assign tests such as “Inbound Call Centre Simulation” and “Outbound Call Centre Simulation.”
Does Guhuza offer training or practice tests for job seekers?
At this time, Guhuza does not offer training or practice tests for job seekers. Skills testing is available only to employers who wish to assess candidates during the hiring process.
Can I buy a test or assessment for personal use?
Skills testing is only available to employers who are hiring and wish to assess candidates during the recruitment process. Tests cannot be purchased for personal use.
